We bring portable roll-forming equipment to your property and manufacture standing seam panels there — at ground level for most projects, or set up directly on the roof for large commercial work. Continuous panels, no shipping damage, custom-cut for your specific roof. Most metal roofers can’t do this.

Our Story
Collins Roofing & Sheet Metal was founded in Cloquet in 2011 with a single goal: build the kind of metal roof Northern Minnesota homeowners and property owners actually need — not stock contractor templates from southern markets adapted to colder conditions.
Since then, we've expanded to a second office in Spring Lake Park serving the Twin Cities metro and Southern Minnesota, built a sheet metal shop that handles custom fabrication for projects across the Upper Midwest, and developed engineered ice dam prevention systems that don't rely on heat cables or annual steam removal.
